Randy Oehrlein
VP of Engineering
Randy has been involved with a wide range of foundry engineering tasks since 1974 and has been with Carley Foundry since 1999. With degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design, Randy serves as VP of Engineering, overseeing an experienced multi-disciplined team of engineers.
He is active at the national level in the American Foundry Society (AFS) Aluminum and Research Committees, and he serves as an instructor and training material contributor. His national awards include:
- 2007 AFS Glen Stahl Service Award recipient for work done in support of AFS
- 2009 AFS William Frishmuth Aluminum Foundryman of the Year Award for contributions in aluminum casting
- 2014 AFS Scientific Merit Award for work and guidance in aluminum casting research
